Predicament!

My sincere apologies for the prolonged absence. Silence, rather! It’s been almost 8 months since I blogged and I hate to recognize that, the prime reason being my detachment towards life. This article could well be a sequel to my previous rant. Some are born insecure, some achieve insecurity and some have it thrust upon them. I have no clue which category yours truly fits into. I think it stems from the fact of not taking oneself too seriously.

I am at a serious loss to explain why I haven’t taken all the necessary steps to put my sedentary life back on track. It remains a bigger mystery than Bermuda triangle. My personal life is in complete ruins with the “iceberg” getting stronger by the day and increasingly tricky to breach .However, there have been sporadic instances where am forced to take out my ire. The proverbial “26/11” attacks caused a lot of inner pain and anguish. Bad governance is one thing, turning a blind eye to blatant misconduct is quite another. The failure of the government to protect its citizens in spite of the alleged “intelligence” showed how nonchalance can wreck havoc. Our pride took a pounding globally and we lost our voice for a brief while. Where is this great country heading? Power breeds corruption. Our leaders allow their coffers to flourish more readily than their credibility. This may just explain why Satyam Computers is in tatters. Meanwhile, the finami (Financial Tsunami, dare I say!) is here to stay for at least a couple of years. No one really knew where the epicenter was and all of us are caught reeling like a fish out of cold water! Mortality preys on the mind. They say life is a vicious circle; the need of the hour is to go through the motions and hope for things to improve. I hope to extend this theory to my personal life. Coming to the relatively brighter side of life, IPL is keeping me completely hooked to cricinfo & the idiot box. The brainchild of Lalit Modi is just a boon for me to take stock of my life and appreciate the way it is. Needless to say, am a hardcore Chennai Super Kings fan. Do we go one step better this time? Anyone?

P.S: Askalakadi gumma va , Chennai Super Kings na summa va?????

It is our confidence which drives our way in all tough conditions. Lets hope for the betterness of the future.
